This is the 2d post to this blog. I hope you will take a few moments to read the first one below or see 'archives on the left sidebar.

It's hard to believe that Annon and the characters from 'Annon's Secret Something Within' have been a part of my life for all these years. They have become almost as familiar to me as my family.

Their story was first published by a good friend, and former high school classmate, Dr. Bob Richmond in a web site in the late 90's. I'm not sure what the URL was, or if it still floats around in cyberspace somewhere.

In the beginning, it was the scene, the setting, Annon's House, his living room where they would come to learn from him how to change their lives. Annon quietly entered the scene in my mind and I could visualize him standing before the ornate framed mirror with the shadows of flickering candles dancing on the wall like ancient cave drawings.

In the beginning I didn't know anything other than to sit down and write the words as they poured from my consciousness. Much as I'm doing now.

As a writer, I never know what's coming next. I just write what I sense hearing and follow the flow. I'm finding I can't do that as I prepare to launch the updated version of the novel, previously published but never really marketed, The House of Annon.

Now I need a plan. A marketing strategy. I'm doing this alone, except for the help of fellow author Rose Lamatt, (Just a Word) who gives me advice, finds errors, checks the formatting, and encourages me not to give up. She tells me it is a good book; that readers will benefit from reading it; it can change lives. Thanks Rose--you keep me plugging away.

I don't have a major publishing company with editors, publicity advisers, or any of the other book selling aids that tried and true authors have to launch their work. But I have the Internet and my Internet buddies and most of all, I believe in this project, thanks to my own, 'Secret Something Within'.
